The Canadian Druze Society (CDS) was founded in 2000 by a group of Canadian Druze who were concerned about the loss of Druze culture and heritage as the Druze immigrated to Canada. This concern was the driving force behind establishing the society and initiating its efforts to preserve Druze identity and promote understanding of the Druze faith and the values of tolerance and cultural diversity. Since then, the Canadian Druze Society has become one of the most prominent cultural and social centers in Ontario and all of Canada.
