Dr. Hussein was born in the village of Rameh, one of the Druze villages in northern Palestine. She received her primary and secondary education in her small village, where she excelled academically from an early age.

After successfully completing high school, Dr. Hussein embarked on an ambitious educational path. She studied medicine in Jerusalem and successfully completed her medical degree in 2000.

In addition to her professional career, she works as a lecturer at the Technion Faculty of Medicine, where she oversees the training of nurses on infection prevention and infectious diseases.

Dr. Hussein is married to attorney Hussam Al-Qassem and is the mother of two daughters, Tala and Hala. She participates in numerous social activities and provides lectures and mentoring. She also serves as head of the parents' committee at the "Life" school in Rameh, working diligently to provide guidance and support to her children and the school's students.

During the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Hussein played a vital role in addressing the pandemic in Palestine. She led the COVID-19 response team at Rambam Hospital, the largest hospital in northern Palestine, working tirelessly for over 12 hours a day to care for patients and combat the pandemic.
