A story of success and perseverance embodied by a member of the Druze community in Jordan, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, who has a strong presence in international forums representing the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its national issues, as well as Arab and pan-Arab causes.

Safadi is a Jordanian politician and media figure, born on January 15, 1962, in the city of Zarqa. He obtained a degree in English Literature from Yarmouk University, then a master's degree in International Media from Baylor University in the state of Texas, United States.

Safadi served as the head of the coordination body between Arab satellite stations and as Vice President of the Arab States Broadcasting Union. He was also a board member for the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, the Higher Media Council, the Jerash Festival, and the Jordan River Foundation.

He has held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Jordan since January 15, 2017, and also served as Minister of State and Deputy Prime Minister in Samir Rifai's government. He was also an advisor to King Abdullah II for media and communication affairs.
