In the town of Bekifa, nestled on the slopes of Mount Hermon, where nature paints its landscape with the colors of luminous serenity, talent grows and develops instinctively. Creativity is born from the womb of the land, flourishing with identity and belonging, just as the brush of the promising young artist Wissam Fayad depicts.

He lived among his white papers and the "scribbles" of his early childhood, painting his first watercolor works at the age of 14, although his talent appeared from a very young age. His family discovered this artistic inclination in him through his ability to define shapes despite his tender years.

Fayad, born in 1993, is still in the process of carving his artistic path, sketching an identity for his paintings inspired by the land, faces, and people, mastering the transfer of detailed expressions, emotions, and feelings; perhaps therein lies his true talent.

He practices drawing almost daily, sometimes completing a painting in just a few days, using more than one type of coloring. He paints with watercolors as well as oils, and in some of his works, he uses acrylics or watercolor-based wooden pencils.

Furthermore, some of his paintings are distinguished by being drawn solely with pencils or charcoal.

It may be difficult to talk at length about painters or sculptors, while conversation flows more easily with their paintings, hoping they might present themselves in a better and more truthful way. To the paintings of this promising young man, we leave the speaking.
