The Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, met with the Papal Nuncio to Lebanon, Paolo Borgia, at the Community House in Beirut, where they discussed the situation in the region and the country.
During the meeting, Borgia said: “We emphasize with His Eminence the Sheikh Aql the importance of working together for peace and the good of the country and its people”.
Abi Al-Muna also received a delegation from the “Lebanese-Palestinian Youth Meeting” led by Ahmed Abdullah Al-Shawish, who presented the Sheikh Aql with a Palestinian keffiyeh, a shield, and a certificate of appreciation.
