Nina Abdel Malak is a Lebanese singer. She began her artistic career in 2011 as part of the singing competition program “Star Academy” in its eighth season, which served as her starting point. She was able to establish a fan base for herself in several Arab countries, most notably Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, and Algeria. She was also a member of the (UAT) group, which she joined with the Tunisian rapper Bachir Bakour and the Saudi hip-hop artist Tarek Ali Fouda.
Nina was born on September 25, 1992, and belongs to a Druze family from the town of Btater in the Aley District. Her father is an interior designer, her mother is named Ferial, and she has one brother named Assem. She completed her higher education at the Lebanese University in the Department of Directing, specializing in Film and Television Directing.
Professional Life
Nina Abdel Malak is a former member of the (UAT) musical group and an artist with a Lebanese mountain voice who managed, through her simple personality, to reach a wide audience via social media platforms, achieving more than one and a half million followers on her personal Instagram account in May 2017.
Her artistic beginnings date back to her childhood in school with the choir group for 9 years, where she sang and performed at school events; it was here that she began to develop her singing talent. She was a participant in the (Mish Bel Mood) program on the radio with the artist Ziad Boutros, and a year later, she joined the Star Academy 8 program. Her childhood dream was to participate in the talent show Star Academy, and when the time came, she applied to the program at the age of 18. She was accepted and began her artistic journey, as the program provided her with support and musical experience. She continued in the program until she reached the eighth prime, which marked the end of her journey in the program, and she was eliminated.
She later participated in the Ramadan Nights events at the Babylon Festival in 2012 with composer Ziad Al-Ahmadiya, where she sang a collection of songs by great artists such as Fairuz, Asmahan, Leila Mourad, and others. The artist's singing debut featured three solo songs of her own production; the first was the song (Beini W Beinak) in 2011, written and composed by Omar Sari. Then, she released the song (Mish Besohoula) in 2013, and the song (Am Dawwar A Hali) on September 25, 2014, written and composed by Mahdi Ezz El-Din, which received acclaim from the audience and was produced by Bably Tools company.
