Jamal Abu Al-Hassan, a Lebanese musician born in 1957 in the village of Btekhnay – Matn, received his musical education in Cairo, where his love for Arabic literature also grew.
In the land of the Nile, he met a German musician who was impressed by Jamal's talent and advised him to join an institute in Vienna, the capital of music.

His influence by the composer “Beethoven” reached the point that he chose to live near his house (1978-1981).
He traveled to the United States, and he received an offer from the Florida International Orchestra to present the work “The Thrush”, inspired by Gibran’s poem which centers on peace, freedom, and beauty.
