Rafi Wahbi, the Syrian actor, writer, and director, was born on June 17, 1966, in the city of As-Suwayda, Syria. His life and artistic career are marked by great uniqueness and creativity. Rafi has roots in As-Suwayda, where he completed his primary and secondary education, and then decided to move to the capital, Damascus, to pursue his higher education.

Initially, he planned to study at a maritime academy to become a sea captain, which was his father's dream for him. However, his life's path changed when he attended a theatrical performance titled “Miss Julie” in Damascus. The performance had a profound impact on Rafi and ignited his passion for theater and acting. Following that experience, he decided to turn toward the path of art and acting.
