Asala Yousef is a Palestinian artist of Syrian origin. She was born and raised in the Palestinian village of Daliyat al-Karmel on 11.4.1986.
She began her artistic career at the age of 6, and at age 7, Asala performed on stage for the first time during the Spring Parade events in the village of Daliyat al-Karmel, and subsequently began singing at various concerts and festivals.
At sixteen, Asala released her first album, through which she covered Syrian, Lebanese, and Egyptian songs.
In 2020, Asala released her first original song titled “Dam'i Yiswaak” (My Tears Are Worth You), with lyrics by Rami Al-Aboudi and music by Mahmoud Al-Ghayath.
Asala has mastered most musical genres, including mountain singing, in addition to her singing in English, which led her to achieve international recognition.
