Wiam Maher Wahhab is a Lebanese politician belonging to the Unitarian Druze sect, born in 1964 in the town of Jahiliyeh in the Chouf district. He is known for his involvement in various political roles in Lebanon.

Wiam Wahhab became involved in Lebanese political life early on, as he was a member of the Progressive Socialist Party, a Lebanese political party headed by Walid Jumblatt, where he held several positions in the fields of politics and media.
He worked at the "Sawt al-Jabal" (Voice of the Mountain) radio station, affiliated with the Progressive Socialist Party, between 1983 and 1987. He then became a political advisor to the head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Prince Talal Arslan, as well as an advisor to the late Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze sect, Bahjat Ghaith.

Wahhab was a journalist before becoming a politician, and previously worked at "Al-Anbaa," "As-Safir," "Al-Haqiqa," and "Ad-Diyar," where he wrote about political events and developments in Lebanon.

In 2004, Wahhab assumed the position of Minister of Environment in the government of Omar Karami, and held this position until February 2005. A year later, in 2006, he founded the Tawhid Current.

He ran for parliamentary elections more than once for the Chouf district but was unsuccessful. However, Wahhab often occupies the media and political sphere, and continues to influence the political scene through the Tawhid Current and his participation in political events and developments in Lebanon and Syria.
