Ali Hamadeh is a politician and journalist from a Lebanese political and media family of the Druze sect. He is the son of the late Ambassador Mohammed Ali Hamadeh, one of the founders of the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs after independence.

 

He is a journalist and political writer for the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar, and a well-known media figure who hosted the program 'Al-Istihqaq' (The Entitlement) on Future TV. He is the brother of Lebanese MP Marwan Hamadeh, who was subjected to an assassination attempt in 2004 and is considered a supporter of the March 14 revolution. Ali Hamadeh held the position of member of the political bureau in the Future Movement led by Saad Hariri.

 

Ali Hamadeh hails from the Druze Hamadeh family residing in Baakline. The Hamadeh family is an ancient family that includes names that have shone in the history of Lebanon.
