The Director of the Al-Shouf Cedar Reserve, Nizar Hani, received his PhD from USEK University in Agricultural and Food Sciences, with the highest honors and congratulations from the examination committee.

The research topic is a heritage survey of medicinal, aromatic, and toxic plants and adding value to them.

Dedication to the reserve

Hani wrote: “Great thanks and appreciation to all the families, women, men, and herbal experts from the reserve's villages who participated in the study. Thanks to the Al-Shouf Cedar Reserve, its committee and staff, and to USEK University and the Doctoral College.”
