The city of Choueifat laid to rest educator Nabil Nimr Al-Jurdi (Abu Nidal), in the presence of former Minister and MP Ghazi Aridi, representing the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt, the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, members of the Madhhab Council, Mayor of Choueifat Ziad Haidar, mayors, mukhtars, officers of the military and security services, in addition to the people of the city and delegations from various villages of the Mountain.

After an introduction by Youssef Kaboul, representing the teaching staff at the Doha School, Mukhtar Nassib Al-Jurdi delivered the family's speech, stating:
Today we bid farewell to a struggling man, an educator, and a son of a noble house. He stood by the martyred teacher Kamal Jumblatt and continued his struggle alongside President Walid Jumblatt, remaining loyal to his party and principles until the last day of his life. He also served as head of the Druze Madhhab Diwan and Director General of the Druze Endowments for thirty years, serving as an example of honesty and integrity, before moving on to establish the Doha School and immerse himself in education and the upbringing of virtuous generations.

The speech of the Progressive Socialist Party and its leader was delivered by Minister Ghazi Aridi, who said:
Today we bid farewell to a noble symbol of the heroic Choueifat, which has written the most magnificent epics in difficult situations and circumstances over several decades. It has offered martyrs and symbols, all of whom are witnesses to the pride, Arab identity, and dignity of this city whenever the need arose to defend the land, dignity, and the Arab nationalist line established by the martyred teacher Kamal Jumblatt and President Walid Jumblatt, with whom Nabil Al-Jurdi had a special relationship.
Today, in these difficult circumstances and what Palestine is experiencing—the cause that the teacher Kamal Jumblatt carried and was martyred for—we see ourselves living with its people and children in their ordeal, and their martyrs have our utmost appreciation. We in the Party are proud of President and leader Walid Jumblatt, who leads us with his stance supporting the people and the resistance in Palestine since the first day of this war. This is the testament of our teacher and this is the path of our leader.
He added, the cause of Palestine, despite the great losses suffered by the Palestinian people, is a cause of justice, dignity, and education. Here, the role of Nabil Al-Jurdi stands out, as he raised generations to uphold this cause and ensured they stood on the right side regarding everything related to the Palestinian cause.
This is Palestine, this is the cause, and this is Nabil Al-Jurdi, who dedicated his life through education and the party to rooting our love for the Palestinian cause. This is Nabil Al-Jurdi, a struggler in this sense, within the party, in Choueifat, and in education.
He continued, as we bid farewell to Nabil Al-Jurdi, we draw inspiration from his experience and struggle in the party, in education, and in teaching, to say that our party will remain Progressive, Socialist, Arab, loyal, and a bearer of the Palestinian cause.
On behalf of the Progressive Socialist Party, its president, leadership, members, and comrades who accompanied Nabil Al-Jurdi and lived his journey, and on behalf of leader Walid Jumblatt, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, the Al-Jurdi family, and the city of Choueifat.
