As part of the Beirut Arab International Book Fair activities, legal and political researcher Dr. Hisham Al-Aawar signed his new book titled: “Encyclopedia of Rescue Projects for the Lebanon We Want - Decentralization and its Sisters,” in the presence of an official, political, and cultural crowd.
The book, newly published by “Dar Al-Bayan Al-Arabi,” is his fifth in a series of works addressing political and legal affairs, including: “The Lebanese Senate and the Issue of its Implementation in Lebanon” – a book consisting of two parts, “The Ombudsman in Comparative Political Systems,” and Bashir Al-Aawar – The Creative Vision for Forming the New Lebanon.
In his new book, which spans 300 pages, Dr. Hisham Al-Aawar explores the subject of decentralization and its sisters.
Diversity of Forewords
What is remarkable about this book is the diversity of the forewords that addressed this intellectual product:
The first foreword is by Professor Antoine Messarra, Professor of Law and Sociology at Saint Joseph University and the Lebanese University, and a former member of the Constitutional Council.
The second foreword was written by Father Dr. Mikhail Rouhana Al-Antony, a writer and publisher of the Fifth Republic Project – The Solution to the Lebanese Dilemma, and the author of the Co-existence theory.
As for the third foreword, it is penned by Professor Khalil Hussein, Professor of Public Law at the Lebanese University – Consultant and Director of Studies at the Parliament.
