The spiritual leader of the Druze community in Palestine, Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, received US Senator Mike Lee in Julis, in a special and first-of-its-kind visit.
His Eminence presented to the Senator the status of the Druze community and the centrality of its historical and current role.
For his part, the Senator confirmed that his visit to the community came with the aim of establishing direct relations between its members and the US Senate, promising to present the community's regional issues to the relevant authorities in the United States.
