The Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze community in Lebanon, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, received the Head of the European Union Delegation to Lebanon, Ambassador Sandra Koepp, at the community house in Beirut, where she briefed him on the European Union's perspective regarding the situation in Lebanon and its continued support for the country, especially in light of the circumstances it is suffering from and that the region is going through.
In turn, His Eminence the Sheikh Aql expressed his vision of the reality from a spiritual, humanitarian, and social perspective, adding: “We always count on the countries friendly to our country, especially the European Union, to develop bilateral relations between us and provide joint efforts to restore economic recovery and other productive sectors, which provide social security on the one hand, and the establishment of the state and its official and public institutions to ensure general stability on the other.”
