The Safa Sporting Club Fans Association gathered friends and supporters of the club at the annual dinner party held at the Golden Lily Complex/Al-Aabadiyeh, in the presence of Club President Sheikh Riad Atallah, Vice President Hajj Rami Bitar, Head of the Lebanese Leftist Movement Mounir Barakat, Head of the Syndicate of Professional Musicians and Singers in Lebanon Farid Abu Saeed, Association President Shawqi Abu Saeed, dignitaries, and a crowd of athletes.
The meeting began with the presentation of a documentary film about the history of Safa Club and the stages it has gone through over the years.
Accompanying the visual presentation, Atallah spoke, valuing the efforts made for the continuity of the club and its attraction of rising sports talents, despite all the challenges and difficulties it faced during times of war and economic crisis.
While thanking the supporters for their enthusiasm in contributing to the development of sports clubs and supporting the rising generations to engage in useful activities, he elaborated on some of the bright milestones in the life of the prestigious Lebanese club, promising to continue monitoring and supporting clubs in rural areas so they can be the key for rising generations to reach the ranks of first-tier teams and the advanced positions they dream of.
In turn, Safa Club Vice President Hajj Bitar confirmed his support and follow-up for all players, coaches, and all the club's activities and goals, so that it may return to being the first-tier competitive club its fans have always known.
The President of the Safa Fans Association, Shawqi Abu Saeed, affirmed continued support and encouragement for the youth to feed the main club with rising talents. He said: “Youth clubs are the true feeder for the prestigious club whose achievements we are proud of. We will support and accompany rising talents by all means to achieve the aspirations of the youth and direct them toward constructive activities, far from the ills of the age.”
He concluded with a tribute of thanks to the attendees, contributors, and supporters, commending the efforts of those in charge of Safa Club, and wishing them further success and the Safa Club more victories in Lebanese championships.
