Five-year-old Adam Rawan Qarouni, from As-Suwayda, represented Syria in the global mental arithmetic competition held on December 2, 2023, where he won first place in the global competition in which 13 countries participated : Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Palestine, Norway, the United States of America, Germany, and Australia.
