Mansour Fadlallah Azzam is a Syrian politician and diplomat belonging to the Unitarian Druze sect. He held several positions, the last of which was Minister of Presidential Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Azzam was born in As-Suwayda in 1960. He holds a degree in French literature from Damascus University (1983), a diploma in translation and Arabization in French from Damascus University (1985), and a diploma in international relations from the National School of Administration in Paris.

His Positions
He held a diplomatic position in 1994 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as the officer in charge of cultural affairs and U.S. Congressional affairs from 1995 to 2000 at the Syrian Embassy in Washington.
He was an advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Director of the Protocol Department at the ministry from 2000 to 2002.
He rose through the ranks of responsibility, from Deputy Director of Protocol at the Presidency from 2003 to 2008, to Secretary-General of the Presidency from 2006, and finally to Minister of Presidential Affairs since 2008, being reappointed to the same position in July 2016.
