On the occasion of the birthday of the martyr teacher Kamal Jumblatt, large regional crowds flocked to his shrine in Moukhtara.

As is customary, the participants in the commemoration set off in a popular march from the Moukhtara Palace towards the shrine of Kamal Jumblatt, led by sheikhs and clerics, including a delegation representing the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, which included the head of the Supreme Druze Court of Appeal, Judge Faisal Nasser Al-Din, Judge Fouad Hamdan, members of the Madhab council, and a large delegation of sheikhs from the Al-Irfan Tawhidiyya Foundation headed by Sheikh Nazih Rafeh, which included a large group of students from Al-Irfan schools.

Upon the arrival of the march at the shrine of Kamal Jumblatt, the clerics recited Al-Fatiha for the soul of the honoree, and MP Taymour Jumblatt laid red roses. Similar tributes were made at the shrines of his two martyred companions, Fawzi Shadid and Hafez Al-Ghussaini, followed by the laying of flowers and wreaths.
