The Alia Marie Charitable Association, in cooperation with the Btater Youth Club for Primary Health Care, the Ministry of Public Health, and UNICEF, organized a free medical day for children, which included vaccinations for ages from one day up to 18 years, medical consultations by Dr. Fadi Hatoum, and the distribution of essential medicines for children.
The head of the Btater Youth Center for Primary Health Care, Mr. Raja Ghraizi, considered this campaign, which was held in the town of Sharoun, to be one of the most successful campaigns in terms of the number of beneficiaries who received vaccinations. He, in turn, thanked the Alia Marie Association for organizing this medical day and called for more cooperation in the future.
Alia Marie Association
On behalf of the Alia Marie Charitable Association, Mr. Rawad Al-Sayegh thanked the official authorities, the Btater Center, and Dr. Fadi Hatoum for their participation in the success of the medical day held at the association's center, from which 121 children benefited. They received the necessary healthcare and took the appropriate vaccines according to their health records, which contributes to creating a healthy and sound society. He considered this free medical day, and the medical and health campaigns that preceded it, to be solely for standing by our people in the Aley district region in light of the difficult economic conditions and out of belief in the association's charitable mission. He called on all associations to join forces and focus their efforts in light of these circumstances on social and hospital assistance and health campaigns, and to move away from everything that does not help or alleviate the burdens on our people in the mountain.
At the end of the medical day, an honorary shield was presented to Dr. Fadi Hatoum for his free medical consultations for all the children.
