A statement was issued by the Office of the Sheikhdom of the Druze Unitarian Community in Lebanon affirming the previous circular regarding marketing through QNET and similar companies, which reads as follows:
“Further to the circular issued by the Sheikhdom on 12-11-2023, which declared dealing with marketing through QNET and similar companies prohibited, and after His Eminence Sheikh Akl Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna received a group of individuals dealing with QNET, discussed the matter with them, and refuted their justifications with the assistance of a number of his advisors, and having received a number of cases and complaints, and to prevent any ambiguity or confusion, the Office of the Sheikhdom reiterates its confirmation of the circular issued by the Sheikhdom prohibiting this type of marketing, warns again of the dangers of engaging in it, and calls for holding its promoters accountable religiously and socially”.
