His Eminence the Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, discussed today at the Druze community house in Beirut with the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the Lebanese University, Professor Khalil Elias Al-Jamal, general educational and university issues, in the presence of the Sheikh Aql's advisor for higher education affairs, Dr. Nabigh Dhubian.
His Eminence also chaired a meeting of the Confessional Council's Board of Directors to discuss issues related to the work of the Council and its committees.
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna had received at his residence in Chaniyeh Sheikh "Abu Dawood" Mounir Al-Qadmani accompanied by a delegation of Sheikhs, and they participated together in the funeral of Sheikha "Um Ayman" Fadila Hamza Azzam in Chaniyeh, in the presence of Sheikhs and local residents.
He also received MP Mark Daou, and they discussed useful ideas related to the work of the Confessional Council and its regulations, and the possibility of investing in endowment lands and properties.
Among those who visited the Sheikh Aql was a delegation of Sheikhs from the town of Qabayah (Metn), to invite him to visit the town. He also received the Syndicate Head Rabie Saraya.
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna held a meeting dedicated to discussing affairs related to investing in endowment real estate, with the participation of members of the Board of Directors of the Confessional Council: lawyers Nashaat Hilal and Hamada Hamada, and Dr. Imad Al-Ghosaini, in the presence of lawyer Kamel Mezher and Mr. Nizam Hatoum.
His Eminence made a phone call to the new Beirut Bar Association Syndicate Head, Fadi Masri, congratulating him on his election.
