A series of meetings at the Druze Community House in Beirut

The Sheikh al-Aql of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, received in the community house in Beirut the Director of Payment Systems Operations at the Central Bank of Lebanon, Makram Bou Nassar, where they discussed financial and general issues.

Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also received the Head of the “Communication and Media Committee at the Islamic Cultural Center,” Sheikh Bilal Al-Mulla, and businessman Alaa El-Din Al-Shamali, accompanied by a delegation from the Western Bekaa region, where they discussed issues related to Islamic-Christian unity in light of the ongoing developments in Gaza, and the strengthening of internal communication and solidarity.

He also received Dr. Hassan Qobeissi and Dr. Fawaz Al-Sahli, accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Shaya, who thanked His Eminence for sponsoring the signing of the encyclopedia “Nation of Strife and Tribulations” and presented it to him.

Among the visitors to the Sheikh al-Aql was a delegation from the family of the late educator Nabil Al-Jurdi (former member of the Confessional Council). A member of the Confessional Council, Ayoub Al-Jurdi, thanked His Eminence on their behalf for his participation and attendance at the late educator's funeral in Choueifat. Another delegation from the family of the late Dr. Sanaa Abdel Samad visited to thank him for his condolences to the family.

He also received a delegation from the “Al-Taadod Club” - Mazraat El Chouf, headed by Hazem Al-Beaini, to brief him on the current state of sports and their interest in strengthening and developing sports and social activities.

The meetings were attended by member of the Board of Directors of the Confessional Council, Mr. Naji Saab, members of the Council: Sheikh Sami Abdel Khalek, unionist Akram Arabi, and Mr. Osama Dhubyan, advisors Sheikh Dr. Ramzi Sarieddine and Sheikh Daniel Said, and the Director of the Sheikh al-Aql office, Mr. Rayan Hassan.

 

Condolences

In the afternoon, the Sheikh al-Aql offered his condolences for the late Abu Rabih Afif Farid Abu Ghannam at the family hall in Aramoun.

He also made condolence calls to MP Wael Abu Faour for the passing of his relative, the late educator Marwan Abu Faour, principal of the Khalwat school, and to Dr. Fares Zeitoun for the passing of his relative, the late Munifa Zeitoun Daham.
