His Eminence the Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, made a phone call to the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, congratulating him on the extension of his term as head of the army, wishing him success in his national mission at the helm of the military institution, and sending him a written letter in this regard.
He also made a similar call to the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Osman, congratulating him on the extension of his term as well and wishing him success.
Qatar
On another note, His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna sent a telegram of congratulations to the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal Thani Al-Thani, on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar, which stated:

His Eminence the Sheikh Aql had sent a message to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, offering condolences on the passing of the Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which stated:
