The representative of the Sheikhdom of the Intellect of the Unitarian Druze community in Kuwait, Sheikh Nassib Qanso, offered his condolences on the passing of the late Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
In his obituary, Sheikh Qanso said, "On behalf of my brothers, the members of the Lebanese community, I extend my sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the esteemed Al-Sabah family and the brotherly Kuwaiti people on the passing of the late Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, may God have mercy on him. We recall his Highness's achievements, his fragrant biography, and his prominent role in the stability and prosperity of Kuwait. We will not forget his support for the Lebanese people, which was well-known throughout the past years. We ask God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy and grant him a place in His spacious gardens."
