The Lebanese doctor Fares Zaitoun, an American-trained and regional and internationally board-certified expert, is internationally recognized as a key opinion leader in allergy and immunology with over 20 years of experience in academic and clinical medicine.
He brings his extensive knowledge and skills to effectively manage allergy and disease conditions such as allergic rhinitis and asthma, urticaria / angioedema, environmental allergies, food and drug allergies, anaphylaxis, and others, using the latest medical standards, advanced diagnostics, and therapeutic tools.

Zaitoun specializes in allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria / angioedema, environmental allergies, food and drug allergies, and anaphylaxis.
He received the American Board of Allergy and Immunology certification in 1997. He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
He was a faculty member at the American University Medical Center, Clemenceau Medical Center, and the Lebanese American University Medical Center, Beirut, Lebanon, 2000-2020.

Arab Society of Allergy
Zaitoun is the first founding president of the Arab Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology in 2019 and President of the Lebanese Society of Allergy and Immunology for the periods 2007-2009 and 2017-2019.
Recipient of the Special Recognition Award from the World Allergy Organization in Lyon, France, in December 2019.
He served as Director of the World Allergy Organization's World Pollen Network between 2009-2011, and was a member of the Nominating Committee for the organization's Executive Board in 2019.
Religious Council
Zaitoun was born in the town of Bekifa in the Rashaya District, and was previously elected as a member of the Druze Religious Council.
