A delegation from the Sheikh al-Aql office of the Unitarian Druze community, commissioned by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, visited Bkerke and met with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi. The delegation included: Druze Judge Sheikh Ghandi Makarem, member of the Druze Council Sheikh Sami Abdel Khalek, and the media advisor to the Sheikh al-Aql, Sheikh Amer Zein El-Din. The delegation conveyed a verbal message from the Sheikh al-Aql to Patriarch al-Rahi, extending his congratulations on the glorious holidays. During the meeting, a number of spiritual and general national issues were discussed.
Additionally, Sheikh Amer Zein El-Din conveyed the congratulations of His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna for the holidays to Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian, Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of the Armenian Catholic Church, at the Patriarchal headquarters in Ashrafieh.
