In a crowded funeral, the town of Baisour bid farewell to the militant Sheikh Fouad Suleiman Malaeb (Abu Fadi), who had a long history of struggle in numerous national milestones. The funeral was attended by former Minister Ghazi Aridi, Baisour Mayor Nadim Malaeb, local dignitaries, neighboring mayors, and mukhtars, alongside a crowd of esteemed sheikhs, led by His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community, Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Hassan, a delegation from the Irfan sheikhs, and crowds of mourners.

Also attending to pay their respects were Sheikh Anwar Al-Sayegh, Sheikh Amin Al-Aridi, Sheikh Munir Barakat, Sheikh Abu Fayez Amin Salha, Sheikh Abu Zein al-Din Hassan Ghannam, Sheikh Abu Dawood Munir Al-Qadamani, and Sheikh Marwan Fayyad.

Furthermore, a delegation of sheikhs representing Sheikh Abu Ali Suleiman Abu Diab was present.

During the memorial, Sheikh Abi Al-Muna delivered a speech in which he recalled the qualities of the deceased, praising his courage and high morals, and highlighting the virtues of his noble home, which raised strong men of piety and principles. He described Baisour and its people as "the title of the true men who forged glory."

Dr. Yasser Naim Malaeb also delivered a speech listing the virtues of the deceased, praising his struggle and his contribution to defending the land and honor throughout Baisour's long militant history, stating: "No words can describe his heroism and sacrifices."

There was also a speech on behalf of the Baisour branch of the Progressive Socialist Party, delivered by the Secretary of Doctrine Zaher Mohammed Malaeb, which stated: "Today we bury a man from this good land that treasures in its soil riches of giving, sacrifice, and martyrdom. Today, Sheikh Abu Fadi is embraced by this land, which returns his love with love. With his journey, he wrote in bold lines in the history of his ancient town, which is rich in chivalry, magnanimity, values, morals, and heroism. Baisour, the mother of martyrs, has lost one of its finest militants and a cadre of the struggle."

A speech on behalf of the deceased's family was delivered by Dr. Walid Fouad Malaeb, in which he thanked everyone who attended and participated in the funeral.

After the prayers were held over his pure body, he was laid to rest in the family cemetery.
