A joint campaign was organized between the Red Cross and the Druze Women's Association at the Aley Social Health Center. The campaign aims to raise awareness and educate about the importance of preventing water pollution. A group of local community members attended to benefit from the information and guidance provided by the campaign.
The campaign covered various aspects of water pollution prevention, where a set of general directives and guidelines were provided, and the importance of drinking clean and safe water to maintain health and prevent waterborne diseases was clarified.
It is also considered an important initiative in educating the community and raising awareness about the importance of paying attention to water quality and maintaining a healthy and safe environment. It emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in addressing water pollution and preserving water resources for future generations.
The Association thanked Haifa Azzam and Fouad Al-Batadini from the Red Cross for providing the information, which was coordinated with Association member Zeina Al-Fakih and the women of the Association.
It was noted that this campaign will continue its activities in several stages at the main center of the Druze Women's Association.
