In a notable and comprehensive meeting at the level of the Unitarian Druze community in Lebanon, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt, visited the head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Khalde, leading a delegation that included MPs: Akram Chehayeb, Wael Abou Faour, Hadi Aboul Hosn, Faisal Al-Sayegh, General Secretary Zafer Nasser, and MP Jumblatt’s advisor Houssam Harb, in the presence of members of the “Democratic” Political Council: Party Vice President Nassib Al-Jawhari, former Minister Saleh Al-Gharib, Party Secretary-General Wissam Shrouf and Liwaa Jaber, and the official for external relations Mohammad Al-Mehtar. During the meeting, the latest local and regional developments were reviewed, where a discussion took place regarding general conditions and various political developments.
