The American Druze community gathered for the 2023 summer convention for five days, from June 28 to July 2, in the city of Richmond, which is just two hours away from the American capital, Washington. It was the location chosen by the American Druze Society (ADS) for this year's convention, with the attendance of hundreds of Druze families from the American Druze community and other countries, including Canada, Venezuela, and others, where they gathered under one roof to attend historical and religious lectures on the Druze faith delivered by Sheikh Wajih Sobh.

This is in addition to Oriental food, joy, Dabke performances, evening parties, and poetry sessions delivered by Dr. Sheikh Fouad Ghannam, and most importantly, the opportunity for community members to get to know one another.

The Society also dedicated a Friday night party for young people, known as the "Single Night," for them to get to know each other and help build friendships for those who wish, with hundreds of young men and women registering for this night.

The American Druze Society thanked the convention organizers, especially the President of the American Druze Society, Mrs. Ghada Hamza, and the entire team of volunteers who worked behind the scenes—who were numerous—as well as the Druze community in Richmond for the wonderful and elegant reception and authentic Arab hospitality, especially for what they provided to the attendees at the Druze House.
