The General Assembly of the Druze Religious Council held its first official periodic meeting of this year on Friday morning at the Maqam of our Master Prophet Al-Khadr, peace be upon him. His Eminence Sheikh Muafak Tarif, the Spiritual Leader of the Druze community, delivered an address.
The session took place as the date for the annual official pilgrimage to the Maqam of our Master Al-Khadr (PBUH) approaches, where the Religious Council announced its decision to cancel the pilgrimage ceremonies, in addition to addressing several important communal issues.
