His Eminence Sheikh al-Aql of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, met at the Community House in Beirut with Mr. Walid Jumblatt, accompanied by the French writer, journalist, and researcher Sébastien de Courtois. The meeting included an introduction to the writer's mission, him getting acquainted with His Eminence and the Community House, and an agreement for future visits. The meeting was attended by the President of the Druze Supreme Court of Appeal, Judge Faisal Nasser Al-Din, Judge Sheikh Gandhi Makarem, member of the Board of Directors of the Druze Council Mr. Naji Saab, Sheikh Zein al-Din Ghannam, and the Director of the Sheikh al-Aql Office, Mr. Rayan Hassan.
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also met with the Social Committee of the Druze Council, in the presence of its head, lawyer Ghada Jumblatt and the members, to review the committee's programs and discuss ways to support them.
