On the evening of Saturday, January 3, 2024, a unique educational course for young Druze couples was launched in the village of Abu Sinan. The event was attended by His Eminence Sheikh Muafaq Tarif, the Spiritual Leader of the Druze community, the head of the Abu Sinan Local Council, Mr. Fawzi Mashlab, as well as a group of village elders, residents, and dozens of youths.
The course, which is considered the first of its kind, aims to increase awareness and understanding of building a Tawhidic (monotheistic) family, as well as the economic and legal factors associated with the marriage contract.

Sheikh Tarif

In his speech, His Eminence Sheikh Muafaq Tarif stated that one of the most important and primary needs of the community in this era is building a dignified, unified family. God, in His wisdom, made it the cornerstone of every individual's life and a vital pillar for the establishment and development of societies, generation after generation. It is built on justice, love, respect, and standards of virtue and morality, as the family is the important link between the individual and society, and between society and the wider world. Hence, the idea for this initiative was born to advance society while preserving and safeguarding the Tawhidic heritage.
