A delegation of Sheikhs from Jabal al-Arab in Syria conducted a religious tour in Lebanon, during which they met with the spiritual authorities of the sect.
The delegation visited His Eminence the Sheikh Aql of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, at his residence in Chanay. His Eminence emphasized the depth of the spiritual and historical relationship that binds the Unitarian Druze together, stating, “We have learned from our religious and jihadist heritage, which we have preserved from Jabal al-Arab and continue to raise our children upon, and we are keen to preserve this heritage regardless of how severe the tribulations become or how numerous the challenges may be.”
