Poet Habib Younes welcomed poet Zaher Abu Hala on OTV, saying:

Between Hermon and Wadi al-Taym, and specifically the town of Al-Muhaiditha in Rashaya al-Wadi, there is a poet who elevated the mountain with a verse and enriched the valley with a rhyme. He knows the nature of both the valley and the mountain so well that he has identified with them, down to the purest whiteness of the snow and the tastiest bite dipped in oil.

He cares for bees, and from them too he harvests his poems, distributed across six collections: "Al-Majamir" (The Censers), for which Nicola Joachim wrote the introduction; "Safarun fi al-Daw' wa al-Rih" (A Journey in Light and Wind), with an introduction by Malik Hamdan; "Siba al-Abad 1" (Eternal Youth 1), adorned with an introduction by Said Akl; then "Siba al-Abad 2"; "Sifr al-Nur aw Kamal Jumblatt" (The Book of Light or Kamal Jumblatt); and "Taym".

He is active on social media, appearing to us daily with two lines of poetry, saying little, yet conveying much. He worked in the Lebanese and Arab press and participated in evenings, festivals, and conferences across Lebanon and in most Arab countries.

Here is Abu Hala's interview on the program "Nuqta Fasila" (Turning Point), titled "Poetry as Mountain and Valley," on OTV.
