A signing ceremony was held for the diwan of the late poet Ismail Al-Abdallah, prepared by poet Hazem Al-Najm1. .

Al-Abdallah was a poet and knight who fought battles against the Ottomans in the village of Hawt, south of As-Suwayda Governorate, in 1860.

He is considered one of the pillars of Nabati poetry in Jabal Al-Arab, and was instrumental in shifting the language of poetry toward pure Bedouin dialect.
