On Monday, April 8, 2024, the Cultural Palace in Suwayda witnessed the graduation ceremony for students of the acting department at Al-Bazalt Cinema and Television Production Foundation.
The graduates presented a theatrical performance titled “Semicolon,” conceived and directed by writer, artist, and theater director Maan Dweir, under the supervision of actor and cinema director Qusay Al-Eisami, the foundation's director.
The graduates are Dana Ghanem, Lana Hatoum, Murad Al-Hussein, Nader Al-Harfoush, Zaidoun Mukallad, and Hussam Abu Ras.
It is noteworthy that the graduation ceremony coincided with the eighth anniversary of the establishment of Al-Bazalt Foundation, which has produced numerous films, including the film "Al-Faz'a," which addresses the people of Suwayda repelling ISIS on July 25, 2018, in addition to several short films. The foundation also works on offering courses for actor preparation.
