The Director General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Mohammad Karaki, visited the Al-Irfan Tawhid Foundation, heading a large delegation from the Fund's administration. He was received by the Foundation's President, Sheikh Nazih Rafeh, the President's Advisor and Director of Public Relations, Dr. Rami Ezzeddine, and a large number of members of the administrative and functional bodies.
The visit comes in response to the Foundation's invitation and in appreciation of the role being played by Karaki through initiatives and projects to ensure the success of the advancement plan for National Social Security benefits. Dr. Karaki was accompanied by: Dr. Fadi Abu Samsam, Director of the Hasbaya and Rashaya Center; Mr. Makram Ghassoub, Head of the Technical Committee; Mr. Osama Al-Zuhairi, Technical and Administrative Director; Mr. Fadlallah Shammas, Director of Inspection and Institutional Oversight; Mr. Nasib Al-Aakoum, Director of Administrative Inspection; Ms. Sahar Majri, Director of Sickness and Maternity Insurance; Ms. Laure Wehbe, Director of Public Relations; Mr. Mohammad Khalifa, Head of the Sidon Office; Mr. Youssef Mezher, Head of the Inspection Department in Mount Lebanon; Dr. Nadia Al-Dabaisi, Supervisory Physician; Ms. Rasha Jaafar, Head of the Sickness and Maternity Insurance Department; Ms. Shahinaz Al-Hajj, Head of the Beit ed-Dine Office; Mr. Makram Saab, Deputy Head of the Beit ed-Dine Office; Mr. Yasser Zibyan, Head of the Achrafieh Office; and Ms. Nadia Al-Hassanieh, Head of the Aley Office.
Following the reception, Karaki and the accompanying delegation, accompanied by the President of the Foundation, toured the facilities of the Al-Irfan schools and were introduced to the modern educational and technological departments that keep pace with the era of artificial intelligence and educational technology. They also visited the Al-Irfan National Museum.
Previously, Karaki had provided a detailed explanation of the advancement plan during a special seminar held for the occasion at the Foundation, in which he highlighted the projects carried out by the Fund to increase hospital and medical coverage for subscribers, as well as explaining the law on contracting and social protection, in the presence of a large number of dignitaries and heads of institutions in the Mountain, led by Dr. Zuhair Al-Imad, General Director of Ain Wazein Medical Village; Dr. Imad Al-Ghassani, Head of the Financial Committee in the Druze Sect Council; Dr. Bassam Al-Baaini, representing the Shouf Interior Agency of the Progressive Socialist Party; Sheikh Imad Mahmoud, Director of the Al-Irfan School in Hasbaya; and a delegation from the management of the Baakline Medical Center.

Rafeh
Welcoming Dr. Karaki, the accompanying delegation, and the attendees, the President of the Foundation praised during the seminar the role played by the National Social Security Fund in protecting the Fund's subscribers, and consequently protecting the Lebanese individual and family in these difficult economic circumstances. He valued the set of initiatives proposed for the advancement plan, hoping that the concerned parties would assist Dr. Karaki in ensuring the success of this plan. He noted the historical relationship that binds Mount Amel to Mount Lebanon, and the role played by Speaker Nabih Berri in preserving institutions and bringing together the viewpoints of all political factions. He pointed to the history of the Al-Irfan Foundation and its humanitarian, educational, and social role over more than half a century across Lebanon, as well as the importance of the role played by the patron of the Foundation, His Excellency Mr. Walid Bey Jumblatt, and the Friends of Al-Irfan Association, which he chairs.

In turn, Karaki thanked the President of the Foundation for the warm reception and hospitality, and gave a comprehensive, detailed presentation on the advancement plan for the Social Security. He expressed his deep pleasure at this visit to the Mountain and Al-Irfan, given the love and appreciation the leadership and institutions of this region hold. He sent a special greeting to the leader Walid Bey Jumblatt and Speaker Nabih Berri, considering them both as safety valves for this country in protecting institutions and defending the rights of citizens.
At the conclusion of the visit, the President of the Foundation presented an honorary shield to Dr. Karaki in recognition of his role and exerted efforts, after which he hosted the guests for a lunch banquet.
