The American professional karting team DPK Racing | Americas announced that the Lebanese-American child Max Makarem has joined as an official driver for the 2024 racing season. Makarem will participate in prominent race rounds including the SKUSA Pro Tour, USPKS, the National Stars Championship series, and the Supernats, in addition to joining selected races in Europe1. .
Max Makarem, known by the nickname 'MaxSpeed' for his extreme speed and racing skill, was able to quickly stand out in the ranks of motorsports since the beginning of his professional athletic journey in 2022. At only twelve years old, this Lebanese-American has managed to achieve several successes, first-place finishes, and victories in various local and regional competitions in the United States.
Makarem achieved positive results since last season (2023), which included winning five first places in qualifying and six victories. He was also the front-runner to be crowned in thirteen podium finishes.
Makarem continues to compete this year in the KA100 Junior and X30 Junior karting categories, not to mention his debut in Formula racing as the youngest driver ever to compete in the Formula Fara F4 class with the LC Racing team.
