The third training course for marriage officiants, funeral prayers, and religious wills was held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the House of the Unitarian Druze Community in Syria, in the presence of Their Eminences the Sheikhs of the Community, Sheikh Yusuf Jarbou and Sheikh Hammoud al-Hannawi.
After the attendees were welcomed by Mr. Ammar Abu Asali, librarian of the Noor al-Tawhid Library, the audience listened to two speeches by Their Eminences the Sheikhs of the Community regarding the importance of the course and the positive results and benefits it will achieve for them.
The first day was opened by lawyer Amer al-Khatib, a member of the General Endowments Office, who spoke about the legal aspects of the course subject.
It is noteworthy that the training lasted for three days and targeted Sheikhs from the governorates of Suwayda, Rif Dimashq, and Idlib.
