164 gold coins dating back more than a thousand years were displayed at the Shrine of Prophet Shuaib (peace be upon him) in Hittin, on the eve of the annual pilgrimage to the shrine – 2024.
These coins date back to the Fatimid rule in Egypt and the region.

What is known as the “Fatimid Gold Treasure” was found in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of the ancient city of Caesarea about 9 years ago. The discovery astonished archaeologists and researchers, as it is believed to be the precursor to other archaeological discoveries that may shed light on that era of the history of the Unitarian Druze, which dates back to the Fatimid rule during the eleventh century.

It is worth noting that parts of the mentioned Fatimid treasure have been displayed in famous museums around world capitals, while major universities are conducting special research on it.
