Jordanian Minister of Culture Haifa Al-Najjar honored the President of the Cave of Arts Association, artist Gandhi Bou Diab, during the 8th Art and Beauty Forum, organized by the Ayla Association for Culture and Arts, headed by Ali Kreishan, in cooperation with the Aqaba Directorate of Culture, as part of the Kingdom's celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of King Abdullah II's assumption of his constitutional powers.
More than one hundred male and female artists from ten Arab countries participated in the forum, including Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria, Jordan, and Sweden. Bou Diab participated in live painting during the symposium held in Wadi Rum, where he stood out by completing two oil paintings in a single day titled (The Caravan of No Return) and (A Gloomy Sunrise). He also participated in the poetry evening held by the Ayla Association at its headquarters in Aqaba alongside a number of poets from the participating Arab countries, where he presented a collection of his poems in the Lebanese colloquial dialect, which were distinguished by symbolic and surrealist imagery and the poetic musicality that stirred the emotions of those present.
