Suwayda's daughter, 10-year-old Isabella Luay Naqour, won first place in Taekwondo at the Washington state level in the United States.
Isabella achieved first place in the black belt category.
It is noteworthy that Isabella hails from the village of Labin in the Suwayda governorate and has been living abroad with her family there for years.
