Artist Badih Abou Chakra was born on March 7, 1976, in Mount Lebanon to a Druze family. He is a Lebanese actor and writer who belongs to an artistic family.
He loved acting and art from a young age; after graduating from high school, he entered the Lebanese University and completed his studies in the field of acting, graduating in 1998. Afterward, he studied business administration at a university in Canada, earning a Master's degree, then enrolled in an acting institute once more, this time in the United States of America, graduating in 2004.
Romantic Roles
His first work was the series "Talibin al-Qurb" (Seeking Closeness) in 1997, directed by the creative Marwan Najjar. Growing up in a family that supports ideological, artistic, and even national freedoms helped him a great deal in becoming liberated and performing diverse roles.
Badih Abou Chakra shone in romantic roles because, alongside his talent, he always honed his skills through hard work, attending a large number of artistic and acting workshops in the United States, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan, and France. He stole people's hearts through the roles he played alongside actress and writer Karen Rezkallah in "Mesh Ana" (Not Me), "La Akher Nafas" (To the Last Breath), and "W Meshit" (And I Walked). Badih Abou Chakra is keen to play roles that highlight important and influential social issues in Lebanese society, and he is an activist in this field, such as the role he excelled in within the series "Bardana Ana" (I Am Cold), where he played the role of an abusive husband, and the series "Rahu" (They Are Gone).

He has also played leading roles in many Lebanese series such as "Ibni" (My Son), "Lamhet Hob" (A Glimpse of Love), "Men al-Akher" (Finally), "Al-Ameed" (The Dean), "Lil Mawt" (To Death), "Stiletto," and others. He also played the leading role in the Lebanese film "Ahebini" (Love Me). He has had many appearances on television programs in Lebanon.
Beyond all this, he is a successful writer and novelist. Among his works are the novel "I Retired from Life at Four" and the poetry collection "The Man Who Danced."
