The Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql of the Druze Unitarian Community in Lebanon, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, met with the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, accompanied by Political Advisor Behnam Khosrowi, where they discussed current developments and a number of general issues.

The Antonine Order

His Eminence also received a delegation from the Maronite Antonine Order, including the General Director, Father Bechara Elia, and the Director of the Antonine Institute, Father Charbel Abboud. The meeting addressed spiritual matters and issues related to the Mount Lebanon region. His Eminence received from them two books: "The Document on Human Fraternity – An Interpretive Reading" by Father Elia, and another about the Institute by Father Abboud.

Association of Muslim Scholars

Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also met with a delegation from the Association of Muslim Scholars, headed by the President of the Administrative Board, Sheikh Dr. Hassan Abdullah, and including the Sheikhs: Zuhair Al-Ja'id, Hussein Ghabris, Maher Mazhar, Ibrahim Braidi, and Ali Sinan.
After the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah stated: "We were honored to visit His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql, and we affirmed that 'what is happening in Gaza today is a genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against safe civilians in Gaza, amidst suspicious international silence and conspiracy. These massacres being committed today in Gaza have led to an awakening of the world's conscience. What we have witnessed in American and European universities is proof that the Zionist enemy has been exposed before public opinion, as has the United States of America's claim to upholding freedoms, freedom of expression, and human rights.' We also affirmed the Association's condemnation of the ongoing aggression by the Zionist enemy on the Lebanese front, considering its threat to invade Lebanon as mere bluster and an attempt to pressure for a better negotiating position. What the resistance is doing in southern Lebanon is the fulfillment of a national duty in defending Lebanon, which would inevitably be the second target of the Zionist enemy if it were able to achieve its goals, or some of its goals, or even if the Zionist enemy fails to achieve its goals in Gaza."

He added: "We discussed the issue of the Presidency of the Republic, and we considered that there is a necessity to elect a new President, which will only happen through dialogue between the Lebanese. With our thanks to Western and Arab countries, there is no need for any external interference for the Lebanese to reach an agreement among themselves. This is what we call for: for everyone to respond to the call for dialogue chaired by the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Nabih Berri, as an exit to resolve this crisis. Regarding the issue of Syrian refugees, we considered that Lebanon is no longer capable of bearing the burdens of this displacement, and the bribe offered by the European Union recently does not equal a small part of what Lebanon, already economically weak and with a people suffering from poverty, is incurring. We called for the international community to take responsibility for resolving this crisis, and we expressed the hope that the recent initiative of the national leader Walid Jumblatt will be crowned with success to exit this crisis."

He concluded: "The attempt to dissolve moral values that the youth are exposed to through social media requires a stand from religious figures. What happened recently regarding what has been termed 'TikTokers' must lead to results and the punishment of those responsible. We reject any interference to stop the investigation or to prevent its expansion, leading to the arrest of those responsible for this major crime that targeted minors and women, and affected many families within Lebanese society."
