Dr. Samia Khodor signed her book “The Development of Druze Women in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries” at the National Library in Baakline, under the patronage of the Cultural Committee of the Druze Unitarian Community Council.
Khodor was born in Baakline, Shouf, and holds numerous university degrees, including a Bachelor's in Sociology, a Master's in Education, postgraduate studies in Social Psychology, a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Knowledge and Culture, a Diploma in Learning Disabilities, and a Master's in History.

The Development of Druze Women in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries includes the biographies of pioneering women in all fields: political, social, religious, cultural, and military, in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. It contains the biographies of more than one hundred pioneering women.
This book is a doctoral thesis in Islamic History prepared by Dr. Khodor, under the supervision of Dr. Saleh Zahreddine, Dr. Ahmed Hattit, Dr. Nafez Al-Ahmar, and Dr. Majid Darwish.
