The Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, stated that we are passing through a very difficult road and a delicate phase that requires us all to maintain general religious, social, and national constants, and to develop ourselves, as well as intellectual and cultural awareness, to emphasize the upright approach that must remain the way to strengthen belonging to that monotheistic oasis with the values it abounds with, looking forward through it to a better future for coming generations.

He said: "The challenges are significant in light of what we are living today at the level of Lebanon and the region, which stands on a hot plate. Through this, we see the most dangerous horizon for the country and its people, where the original word remains with reason and wisdom to overcome the difficult period. It is time for officials to agree to start addressing pending issues at various levels."

Sheikh Abi Al-Muna's words came during his participation in a number of expanded religious meetings, during which he called for alertness to the dangers of rumors and destructive ideas broadcast through social media, the misuse of which aims to sow societal discord and spread feelings of hatred, while warning against sharing videos that contradict general orientations and the path of the righteous predecessors.
