After offering condolences, Abi Al-Muna wrote a message in the condolence book, which stated:

“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 'Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow, and some of them still wait, and they have not changed in the least' (God Almighty has spoken the truth).

Perhaps it is the greatest and deepest solidarity with the people of Gaza and occupied Palestine for the Iranian people to share in the loss, grief, martyrdom, and tragedy of the passing of the nation's great leaders and the elite among them. It is the inescapable destiny that distinguishes the believers who, when struck by a calamity, say: 'Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.' We ask for mercy for their souls, and for the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leaders, lasting protection and glory.

Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze community, Sami Abi Al-Muna.”

Furthermore, the Sheikh Akl, heading a delegation, offered condolences at the Druze community headquarters in Beirut on the passing of Mona Fayez Makarem, wife of Prince Farouk Arslan. He was received by the head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Talal Arslan, the husband of the deceased, her two sons Malik and Makram Arslan, and a number of members of the Arslan and Makarem families.

The Sheikh Akl received at the community headquarters a delegation from the “Founders of the Assembly of Retired Employees in the Public Sector and Independent Interests.” The discussion touched upon demands regarding the recalculation of end-of-service indemnities starting from 2019, in addition to the mandatory subscription to the National Social Security Fund, which has become a burden on retirees, especially since there are no medical or hospitalization benefits provided by the Social Security.

He also received the following: Captain Omar Khadaj, writer Rajeh Naeem, and the Sheikh Akl’s representative in Venezuela, Sheikh Ghassan Ali Nuwaihed and his wife.

At his residence in Shanay, the Sheikh Akl received the Sheikh Akl’s representative in Georgia, Jihad Al-Ahmadiyah, to be briefed on the situation of the Druze community and the activities of the representation office.
